New requirements of printing process on ink quality

with the continuous progress of science and technology, modern printing equipment is developing in the direction of multi-color, multi-function, high-speed and automation. At the same time, color printing materials are also constantly diversified, and the printing characteristics are significantly different from the traditional production process. The formation of this new situation also puts forward higher requirements for the characteristics and quality of ink

looking at the development status of the printing industry, it puts forward the following requirements for the use of ink:

1. Modern printing equipment is developing in the direction of one-time multi-color online printing, so the ink needs to have the characteristics of rapid drying, that is, the ink will be fixed and dried quickly after being transferred to the substrate material, so as to meet the requirements of high-speed multi-color continuous printing of the equipment

2. Modern printing requires that the ink will not dry and fix the crust on the ink bucket and rubber roller of the printing machine quickly, so as not to bring obstacles to normal printing, so as to better ensure the printing quality and efficiency

3. the ink is required not to react chemically with the printing plate, not to corrode the printing plate, and not to reduce the printing resistance of the printing plate

4. it is required that the ink color should be consistent. Each batch of ink of the same type should have the same color, the conjunctiva should be firm, it will not fade after printing, and it can produce light after overprint. In addition to transparent inks, the inks of various colors should have a certain hiding power, and after overprinting, the overprinted inks should maintain the original basic color characteristics

5 (2) select the load grade. The printing ink must adapt to different types of printing methods and printing equipment, such as offset printing ink should have water and acid resistance, gravure printing ink must be volatile, etc

6. the printing ink must also have good anti sticking and dirty characteristics, that is, when the ink is printed on the substrate, it is not easy to have over printing in an instant, so as to ensure the printing efficiency and quality

7. modern printing requires better ink fineness. This will introduce in detail the utilization scope and functional characteristics of the metal material testing machine, that is, the size of pigment (including filler) particles in the ink and the distribution of pigment particles in the binder should be kept fine and uniform, so as to better prevent the printing defects such as paste

in addition to the above good characteristics, modern printing technology also requires that the ink has the properties of heat resistance, light resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, etc. when the ink is transferred to the substrate, the ink layer should be bright and eye-catching, so as to achieve good use characteristics such as constant color, no dilution and no penetration. Packaging and printing products also require that the ink should have better friction resistance after printing on the substrate. The above requirements of these characteristics are an important way to improve the printing efficiency and product quality. 8.9 the surface chromatic gloss of blackened parts is an important problem worthy of further research and development by ink manufacturers, and it is also a production problem expected to be solved by printing plants
